Calls of Fallen Angels

I'll be at the river mouth to pluck your spinal harp
The stale air chokes the dock side, decay as thick as tar
The gray landscape surrounds me, your touch still on my flesh
Your hair still on my collar, your stain still wet and fresh

Black water in the bay, blood shadow where you lay

Down along the coast line following your trail
The calls of fallen angels that shriek beyond the pale
There's blackness in the grass blades, there's blackness in your hair
There's blackness on my hands and there's blackness everywhere

Death down at the streetlight, death down at your grave site

never performed live
