I'm walkin with roads that I've walked with for so many days
And I know in my soul that the two of us soon will part ways

These same old cracked roads will soon be known as the place from which I came
This I know so I look back on today already

I look back at people I've known in my far distant past
And I see all the memories we made though our time didn't last
The forks in the road where they left off to pastures anew
Well it just all depends if that I'm a fork in their road too

I'm leavin for home it's a place I have not seen before
And I think of the memories waiting behind that home's door
As I look up the path I can see many will come and go
